    ANNOUNCEMENT for launching the Competition for the selection of civil society representatives in the Civil Council

    To implement the provisions of art. 44/2 of Law no. 1104/2002 on the National Anti-corruption Centre (NAC), the National Anti-corruption Centre has announced a competition for the selection of civil society representatives in the Civil Council for a period of 3 years.

    It is mentioned:

    The activity of the Centre is subject to control by civil society based on the legislation regulating transparency in the decision-making process, access to information and the activity of public associations. Additional control of the Centre’s activity by civil society takes place based on Law no. 1104/2002 on the National Anti-corruption Centre, through the Civil Council.

    It is specified:

    2 representatives of civil society will be selected in the Civil Council, according to the procedure established in the "Regulation on the selection of civil society representatives in the Civil Council", approved by Order of the Director of the National Anti-corruption Centre no. 37/2024 (attached).

    Only a public association that carries out its statutory activity in one of the following areas can be a member of the Civil Council: justice, human rights, transparency, integrity in the public sector, prevention and fight against corruption, civic participation.

    To participate in the competition to select civil society representatives, candidates must meet the following conditions:

    a) have higher education;

    b) not to hold a public position;

    c) not have been an employee of the National Anti-corruption Centre during the last 2 years;

    d) not be a member of any political party and/or not have campaigned for any electoral competitor in the last 2 years;

    e) not to have an unexpired criminal record;

    f) not to have the procedural capacity of suspect, accused or defendant in a criminal trial conducted in the last 3 years;

    g) to have the capacity of member of the public association they represent.

    Candidates for the position of member of the Civil Council are to submit their file to the headquarters of the National Anti-corruption Centre, located at: Chisinau municipality, bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt 198, or by e-mail, to the email address: secretariat@cna.md - with the mention "Civil Council Competition" [name of organization]". The original application file submitted by e-mail must be submitted on the day of the interview.

    The application file for the competition includes:

    a) the standard application for participation in the competition, according to Annex No. 1 of the announcement;

    b) curriculum vitae, which will also include 3 reference persons;

    c) copy of the identity card;

    d) copy of documents confirming studies;

    e) copy of the work book, if the candidate holds a work book or other documents confirming experience in the field;

    f) letter of intent, maximum 2 pages;

    g) letter of recommendation from the non-commercial organization of which he/she is a member or with which he/she collaborates or, as the case may be, from a higher education institution in which he/she works;

    h) agreement regarding processing of personal data, according to Annex No. 2 of the announcement;

    i) the declaration on one's own responsibility, according to Annex No. 4 of the announcement.

    The files for participation in the competition will be submitted within 15 working days from the date of the announcement of the launch of the competition, the deadline being: 26.12.2024, 17:00.
