The officers of the National Anti-corruption Centre and the prosecutors carried out, today, searches in the Medical Control Section of the Municipal Dermatology-Venerelogical Dispensary in Chisinau in which two nurses are targeted. They are suspected of the systematic extortion of financial resources from various economic agents and individuals for the completion of personal medical records.

Following the searches, objects and documents relevant to the case were seized. The suspects are being investigated while at liberty.

The criminal investigation of the case continues under the procedural leadership of the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor's Office.
