Criminal prosecution actions conducted by NAC and anticorruption prosecutors at the Republican Clinical Hospital

NAC officers and anticorruption prosecutors conducted searches at the Republican Clinical Hospital, in the chief’s office and at his home, this morning. Similar actions occurred at a company from Chisinau.

The operation took place within a criminal case initiated on passive corruption committed in large proportions.

Thus, NAC officers and prosecutors are verifying the legality of leased rooms used for performing medical tests on patients of the institution concerned.

The origin and destination of some funds transferred by the company on the bank account of the interim chief of the Republican Clinical Hospital are being investigated.
The official has just been cited as a suspect at NAC. He was asked to give evidence in the presence of the lawyer.
