Over 1,400 people trained by the NAC in one week: Integrity and corruption prevention promoted in key sectors

The Anti-corruption Education Directorate (DEA) of the National Anti-Corruption Centre (NAC) conducted 12 training and information activities, involving 1 469 participants from various key sectors of society, during the period 26–30 May 2025.
Integrity in education: A special focus was placed on training examination boards, in collaboration with the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation. Topics covered included: the legal regime of gifts, conflict of interest, improper influences, corruption reporting procedures.
Integrity in local elections: As part of the “Decide with Integrity – Vote with Accountability” campaign, carried out in partnership with the Moldovan Youth Council, information sessions were organized in Soldanesti and Ungheni. The actions aim to promote integrity in the electoral process and reduce corruption risks at the local level.
Integrity in health: In collaboration with the Ministry of Health, AO HOMECARE and the territorial medical institutions in Şoldănești and Ungheni, the “Integrity for Health” campaign continued with sessions dedicated to medical personnel. The NAC officers and anti-corruption volunteers informed patients about their rights and the mechanisms for reporting corruption in hospitals.
Integrity in law enforcement: Police officers and employees of the General Inspectorate of Police participated in trainings on “Integrity Warning and Whistleblower Protection”. The central themes aimed at reporting irregularities and creating an institutional climate based on ethics and responsibility.
The NAC reaffirms its commitment to building a culture of integrity through education, institutional cooperation and citizen involvement, reaffirming that preventing corruption is a constant priority.
