Participation of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova at the AFCOS 2024 conference, Brussels

During October 15-16, 2024, a delegation from the Republic of Moldova, made up of representatives of the State Financial Control Inspectorate, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor's Office and the National Anti-Corruption Centre (NAC), participated in the AFCOS Conference "Fighting Fraud Together", organized by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) in Brussels.

During the conference, the Moldovan delegation presented a criminal case under the management of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, highlighting the collaboration procedures established between the national institutions and OLAF. The presentation emphasized the importance of effective cooperation between the NAC and OLAF, considering the existing agreements between the two institutions in combating fraud affecting the financial interests of the European Union.

This participation reflects the joint efforts of the Republic of Moldova to implement high standards in preventing and combating fraud, through close collaboration with international partners.
