Four employees of the National Anti-corruption Centre took part in two events held within the "Women, Peace and Security" Agenda, which took place in the past days. These are a theoretical-practical workshop "Courage Has No Gender" and the fall camp "Strengthening Strategic Communication to Promote the Women, Peace and Security Agenda".
Thus, along with over 40 women from the force structures of the Republic of Moldova, the NAC employees participated in complex activities organized by the State Protection and Guard Service. Their purpose was to assess physical capabilities and skills in the handling of firearms, through timed exercises and practical shooting tests. At the same time, an information session was held on promoting gender equality in the security system, combating stereotypes and prejudices, creating an inclusive, leadership and management work environment, as well as strategies for building a successful career.
In parallel, approximately 40 participants from legal institutions took part in an autumn camp with the generic "Strengthening Strategic Communication to Promote the Women, Peace and Security Agenda", organized by UN Women Moldova and the Platform for Security and Defense Initiatives (PISA). During three days, several topics were addressed, such as strategic communication, formulating SMART objectives for strategic communication, performance monitoring, assessing the impact of strategic communication and others.
It should be noted that these activities were carried out within the National Program for the implementation of Resolution 1325 of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security for the years 2023-2027, approved by Government Decision no. 152/2023.
