A Chisinau resident is investigated by the NAC, after allegedly receiving a bribe of 10,000 lei for obtaining a driver's license

A resident of the capital is being investigated by the NAC officers in an influence peddling case. He is suspected of claiming and receiving illegal financial means for obtaining a car license.

Claiming that he would have influence over some public officials from the Medical Commission of Drivers of the Ialoveni District Hospital, the suspect allegedly demanded and received from a person the sum of 10,000 lei to help him obtain the mandatory medical certificate for the right to drive a means of transport. He would also have organized the issuance of the schooling certificate without the holder of the document to attend the courses.

Following the searches carried out by the NAC officers, under the procedural leadership of the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor's Office, objects and documents relevant to the case were seized, and the suspect is to be investigated in a state of freedom.
