About 70 employees of the local public administration authorities from Hîncești, Leova, Cimișlia and Basarabeasca districts participated in the information session, organized by NAC

The National Anti-corruption Centre jointly with the Hîncești Territorial Office of the State Chancellery, organized an information session on the implementation of measures to ensure institutional integrity. The event brought together the staff of the Territorial Office, as well as the mayors of the localities of Hîncești, Leova, Cimișlia and Basarabeasca districts.

In total, about 70 civil servants participated in the training and learned about the regulations in the field of integrity and the importance of compliance with ethical standards in public activity. At the same time, other topics were discussed, such as the role of local management in ensuring the management of corruption risks, the continuous monitoring and evaluation of institutional integrity measures, to ensure their compliance in all administrative-territorial units.

Case studies and examples of good practices that can be implemented at the local level to prevent acts of corruption and promote transparency within public institutions were also presented.

This session was organized as part of the activities planned within the National Integrity and Anti-corruption Program for the years 2024-2028, developed by a group of deputies in collaboration with the National Anti-corruption Centre. The aim of the document is to strengthen the national system for preventing and fighting corruption by continuing to develop a culture of integrity.
