About 60 interns participated in an information session on the role and duties of the NAC within the Joint Internship Program of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova - 2024

The officers of the National Anti-corruption Centre organized an information session for about 60 interns, selected through the Joint Internship Program of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova for the year 2024. The event aimed to familiarize young people with the role, mission and activities of the NAC which represents an essential pillar in the fight against corruption and in strengthening the rule of law in the Republic of Moldova.

During the session, the trainees had the opportunity to interact with the NAC experts, who presented them with the institution's main areas of activity in preventing, combating and investigating acts of corruption. Also, other aspects were addressed, such as the evaluation of institutional integrity, the performance of anti-corruption expertise, but also the strengthening of international cooperation.

At the same time, the NAC officers emphasized the importance of education and public awareness in preventing corruption and encouraged the young trainees to actively promote the values of integrity in their future careers.

It should be noted that the information session is included in the Program, which is in its third edition and has an educational character. Among the participants are students, master's students and graduates of higher education institutions, both from the Republic of Moldova and from abroad.
