Alexandru Savca was appointed as deputy director of the National Anticorruption Center

Alexandru Savca was appointed as deputy director of the National Anticorruption Center (NAC). A draft decision stipulating this was voted by 57 Members of Parliament.

The candidacy of Alexandru Savca was proposed by the director of the National Anticorruption Center, Alexandr Pînzari. A career officer, from 2016 until now, Alexandru Savca has worked at the NAC as a senior investigation officer on exceptional cases and head of department. Previously, he was an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security and Intelligence  Service.

According to the legislation, the deputy director of the CNA is appointed by the Parliament, on the proposal of the director of the institution. His mandate expires together with the mandate of the director of the National Anticorruption Center.
