Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) took 200 000 lei in its administration, last week

Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA), under the NAC, completed 7 delegations and sent 6 opinions, last week, taking 200 000 lei in administration. Currently, Agency has 171 delegations, on 122 criminal cases, regarding 276 subjects.

The NAC has also announced other activities carried out during the week.

.      General Directorate on Criminal Prosecution has in procedure 338 files. Last week, 12 of which with the proposal to be brought to the court;

.      General Directorate on Operative Support carried out 4 expertises; of one of which is IT and3 graphoscopic, 68 files are under procedure;

.      The Analytical Directorate completed 5 operational analyses, initiated 2 new, other 87 operational analyses are under procedure;

.      The Legislation and Anticorruption Expertise Directorate received 26 draft normative acts for the expertise, sent to the authors 22 expert reports and 5 opinions, 52 draft normative acts are under examination;

.      The Legal Service participated in 9 court hearings;

.      1190 materials were registered in the Center's Chancellery;

.      47 calls were received at the National Anticorruption Line;

.      58 integrity records were issued;

.      The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 2 activities to inform and raise awareness on the risks and consequences of the corruption involvement;

.      4 individuals were placed in the NAC Detention Center last week, other 7 accused are in the Penitentiary 11 and 13.
