The synthesis of the NAC: Assets worth about 5,3 million lei, seized by the CARA last week

The Criminal Assets Recovery Agency (CARA) seized assets estimated at about 5,3 million lei, based on the deligations of the prosecutors last week. These are 5 share capitals, 2 residential and 2 non-residential constructions, 5 construction lands, an agricultural land and one means of transport.

·       The Analytical Directorate completed 3 operational analyses, initiated 9 new, 40 are under development and 4 strategic analyses are under procedure;

·       The Legislation Directorate received 45 new draft laws to be expertized, 20 were issued to the authors, 16 opinions on draft normative acts were completed;

·       1224 materials were registered in the Chancellery of the Center;

·       52 telephone calls were received at the National Anticorruption Hot Line;

·       The Anticorruption Education Directorate carried out 3 activities of informing and raising awareness about the risks and consequences of corruption involvement;

·       97 criminal records were issued.
