Citizens have access to new digital tools, with which they can report corruption, become whistleblowers, or track the progress and purpose of public procurement procedures. These were created in the last few years as part of the project “Curbing Corruption by Building Sustainable Integrity in the Republic of Moldova”, implemented by the UNDP Moldova, with the support of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Open Money reveals the public money itinerary and radiographs the connections between the companies participating in the acquisitions, and on the ReLawed platform we can report the legal norms that leave room for interpretations. Integrity whistleblowers also have two online modules - e-learning and a module for requesting protection.
All digital tools are easy to navigate, have simple and intuitive interfaces and have the potential to promote the anti-corruption agenda, to facilitate the communication of citizens with public institutions.
