A public official from Lozova City Hall, detained by the NAC. He allegedly claimed 300 euros from a mother of a young man to release him from the military service

A specialist from the subdivision of Records and Military Incorporation of the Lozova City Hall is suspected of claiming and receiving 300 euros from the mother of a young man to help him not to be incorporated in the military service. According to the whistleblower, the public official would have promised to issue the young man a certificate, based on which he will be released from the obligation to join the army.

A criminal investigation was initiated in this case, and on Tuesday, the public official was detained for 72 hours. He is in the NAC detention center and if found guilty, he risks prison from 5 to 10 years, a criminal fine and the deprivation of the right to hold public positions for a period of time.

We remind that every person is presumed to be innocent until the final and irrevocable decision of the court is pronounced.
