1300 euro for a driving license. A young man from Cahul was detained by the NAC officers

A young man would have demanded 1300 euro for a driving license, but he was caught flagrantly by the officers of the General Territorial Directorate South of the NAC and the anticorruption prosecutors. A young man has attracted the attention of the NAC after being denounced, and now he will be placed in the detention center for 72 hours.

According to the investigative materials, the suspect had promised a woman that he could prepare her a set of documents to have access to the exams to get the driving license of the category B. He alleged that he would influence the employees of different institutions, including the Section of Registration of Transport Means and Driver's Qualification from Cahul, of a driver training school, the doctors of the Health Center from the city, as well as provide help at the exams. For his services, he claimed and received, under the control of the GTD South, 1300 euro.

The detention took place in the center of the city, a criminal prosecution was initiated on this case based on art. 326 of the Penal Code - influence peddling. If he is found guilty, the man risks up to 6 years of imprisonment.
