The meeting of the Monitoring Group 1 of the National Integrity and Anticorruption Strategy for the years 2017-2020 will be held on December 17, in the Parliament

The meeting of the Monitoring Group 1 is a basic instrument of the monitoring mechanism of the implementation of the National Integrity and Anticorruption Strategy for the years 2017-2020, to ensure the presentation of the quantitative progress of the fulfilled actions, identification of good practices and implementation risks.

In the framework of the meeting of the Monitoring Group 1, responsible for Pillars I. the Parliament and IV. the Central Election Commission and the political parties, the progresses and difficulties in implementation of the Strategy Action Plan will be publicly audited, approved by the Parliament Decision no. 56 of 30.03.2017. The progresses will be analyzed on the basis of the Monitoring Report on the implementation of the National Integrity and Anticorruption Strategy, for the reporting period - semester I of 2019, prepared by the National Anticorruption Center, that ensures the function of the Monitoring Group Secretariat. The representatives of the institutions - pillars which activity has been targeted can make additions to the Secretariat report, and the representatives of the civil society can prepare and present short alternative reports.

The composition of the Monitoring Groups is expressly stipulated, in accordance with the functions, in the framework of Chapter V. Procedures for Reporting and Monitoring the Strategy.
